CAPTURING A UNIQUE PERSONALITY
Portraits have always been a way to capture a unique personality through the eyes of an artist - whether that is with a painting, photograph, drawing or caricature.
My digital illustration style -
developed several years ago through image manipulation for a travel magazine, takes the photograph as the starting point and renders it closer to a 2-dimensional screen printed aesthetic. This gives me the freedom to create through the process of taking away (as in clay sculpture) as opposed to adding, and allows the image to say more with less.

COMMISSIONING BESPOKE PORTRAITURE
Commissioning a bespoke personalised fashion portrait through Luke Walwyn Studio is truly buying into a lifestyle of modern luxury, and will make a treasured memory or a valuable gift. What's more, it is a celebration of the uniqueness of you.
It starts with a conversation and your very own photograph(s) which best represents your character. This is then re-imagined into a contemporary fashion portrait which can be developed into a magazine or book cover for added impact.
The finished artwork is fine art printed to a 30x40cm image, and can be upgraded to 40x60cm for much greater visual impact.
All our fine art prints are expertly reproduced on a 285gsm slightly textured, 100% cotton rag art paper using the latest 12-colour wide-format giclée printing technology. The print finish is of astounding quality, surpassing what a digital screen can convey, and offers 100+ year colour guarantee. The prints are supplied with a white border and unframed (unless you state otherwise).

Our canvases are professionally produced using a 12-colour giclée fine art printing process, onto museum quality 410gsm Hahnemühle Monet canvas in 100% cotton. Each is then expertly stretched over a 38mm artist stretcher bar milled from the finest quality European kilndried knotless pine, and hand finished by one of the UK’s most experienced canvas framing teams.
All printed products are digitally signed by Luke Walwyn the artist.
